It’s hard to be human.
Pain can invade our most intimate spaces—our days, our hearts, and our relationships. Sometimes we know the source of our distress. Other times, we just know we’re not okay and long for something more. This can leave us feeling both lonely and confused.
Therapy interrupts isolation and fosters deeper self-awareness. It begins when we are truly seen and heard by another. In the presence of safety and acceptance, vulnerability becomes bearable. From there, we can open up, explore how our pain came to be, examine its impact, and take steps toward wholeness.
There is hope: your story isn’t over, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
Welcome.
I’m Brittany — a licensed therapist offering in-person therapy in Franklin, Tennessee, and virtual therapy in both Tennessee and California.
Each of us is walking out a story, at our own pace, on our own path. At times, the way ahead may feel unfamiliar—or like a road you no longer want to walk. For some, it can feel like looping the same track over and over, without meaningful change. In certain seasons, we may feel stuck, lost, or off course. If only we knew where to step next.
Spanish poet Antonio Machado speaks to this sense of uncertainty: “Traveler, there is no path; the path is made by walking.”
Wherever you are, I invite you to walk differently—with intention, and with a guide—in the pursuit of peace.
